NATHALIE MEZZA-GARCIA

Nathalie Mezza-Garcia is a complexity scientist and founder/CEO of Seaphia, a consulting company for floating projects. She is the Managing Editor of the Journal of Special Jurisdictions and an advisor of the Institute for Competitive Governance. She has also published several peer-review works on governance and self-organized systems. Nathalie did her PhD studies on the Floating Island Project in French Polynesia, an attempt to create the world’s first floating Special Economic Sea Zone. She also provided marketing and podcast hosting services for the project. With her drive and reach, she put the Floating Island Project in over 100 news outlets and publications, including CNBC, Business insider and ABC. Her dual role in research and marketing gave Nathalie a unique insight into the various aspects of floating developments. Today, Nathalie has a very clear understanding of what makes floating developments successful. She founded Seaphia to help businesses and partners navigate the complexity of these new waters.
